Kirsten Kunkle
Therapist
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Women’s Studies and Spanish, a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and Counselor Education from the University of Colorado at Denver with specialties in Marriage and Family Therapy and School Counseling. I am an AAMFT approved supervisor. I have been in the practice of psychotherapy since 2001, and have conducted clinical supervision since 2008.
As a therapist I work to help couples, families, and individuals live more fulfilling lives by facilitating deeper connections between themselves and others. I help people to create more joy, peace and freedom by addressing the issues that distress them and conflicts that get in their way. I work with an attachment focus honoring the mind-body-spirit connection. I help people lead more authentic lives and to cultivate compassionate connections with themselves and others.
I have specialized training in treating depression, anxiety, and trauma. I am certified PCIT therapist and have EFT training to work with couples, families and individuals. I look forward to helping you on your journey.
